SportSteem - NFL Contest & MLB Playoff Challenge

SportSteem is pleased to announce that it has launched its first two prize contests – the NFL Monthly Challenge and the MLB Playoff Challenge. Both are free to join, easy to play, and utilize SportSteem’s brand new pick-tracking system. All you need to do is make your picks using the SportSteem tags (the appropriate tags can be found here) and see how you stack up against other Steemians!

A Few Simple Rules

• Every pick is recorded as a 1-unit (risked) wager. SportSteem currently displays decimal odds (e.g. 1.91), so the win amount is equal to the odds minus 1. And if your pick loses, you’ve lost 1 unit.
• You can’t make the same pick twice – or pick the spread and the moneyline on the same team in the same game.
• You can pick an over / under and a separate moneyline or spread pick on the same game; however, you’ll need to create two separate posts to do so (one for the over/under pick, and one for the moneyline or spread pick).

NFL Monthly Challenge

Every month, SportSteem will be hosting an NFL contest – any user that logs at least 1 pick with SportSteem is automatically entered. The current Monthly Contest started in Week 4 and will run through Week 8. Every pick that you log with SportSteem will be tracked on the SportSteem leaderboard at www.SportSteem.com. Pick the moneyline, the point spread, or the over/under – SportSteem will do the rest and determine users’ rankings accordingly. At the end of Week 8, SBD will be awarded:

(1) First Place = 70 SBD
(2) Second Place = 30 SBD

MLB Playoff Challenge

SportSteem’s MLB Playoff Challenge will run through the last World Series game. As with the NFL Challenge, any MLB pick that you log on SportSteem will automatically enter you into the contest. At the end of the playoffs, SBD will be awarded:

(1) First Place = 30 SBD
(2) Second Place = 20 SBD
