A brief opinion about e-sports

E-sports don't stop growing, in recent years the increase in demand that is on the part of the public, its multitudinous competitions, the number of players, teams and organizations around this phenomenon shows that it has a very promising future.

There's a league of professional video games that in the last two years, at media level, has rebounded enormously calling the attention of the big media. This may come as a surprise to those who haven't had any contact with this world because professional leagues are usually related to "real" sports.

E-sports have entered the academic world of universities from the point of view of the design and development of video games in computer science faculties and their inclusion in the educational and pedagogical field is sought. The world of e-sports is a complicated world if we don't know it, since there aren't many previous studies and it's difficult for foreigners or researchers outside the e-sports sector to approach it, although it's foreseeable that there will be publications or even academic works on this subject in the near future.
