NCAA March Madness 2018 - GoldKeyLeague Groups Status Updates

With the Sweet 16 Starting today, I should give a review of the current status of the GoldKeyLeague Groups:

THERE ARE THREE DIFFERENT GROUPS TO REVIEW

• GoldKey-STEEM-League - Private - STEEM USERS ONLY
• GoldKey-SBD-League - Private - SBD-based POOL
• GoldKeyLeague - Public - Open to all

OVERALL REVIEW: BRACKET BUSTER : VIRGINIA

Many brackets listed Virginia as the champion. However, Virginia lost to UBSX EBBCM WHO? . . . UMBC University of Maryland, Baltimore County. This was the biggest upset in NCAA Tournament History and created many Busted Brackets. When a bracket is Busted, it is due to the loss of future "Potential Points Remaining". When your champion loses early, then your bracket can not gain points in the future that you expected to gain. So, while the numbers may show a close race still, it is the PPR that really tells the story.

GoldKey-STEEM-League - Private - STEEM USERS ONLY - 3SBD

The GoldKey-STEEM-League group was open to STEEM users and it has 10 Entries/Brackets.
With 10 brackets, I am going to give a 3SBD prize to the Top Winner in the Group.

Out of these 10 brackets, six have their selected champion already out of the tournament.
Effectively, four brackets are still in the running. (All others are still in - just unlikely to end on top).
Most likely, it is between these four brackets/users:

GoldKey-SBD-League - Private - SBD-based POOL

The GoldKey-SBD-League group was open to STEEM users and it has 4 Entries/Brackets with 4SBD.However, the Prize Pool will be Six SBD in the Prize Pool because I will add 2SBD to the Pool. So, the Pool Prizes will be:

• 1st Place - 50% of the prize pool = 3.0 SBD
• 2nd Place - 25% of the prize pool = 1.5 SBD
• 3rd Place - 15% of the prize pool = 0.9 SBD
• 4th Place - 10% of the prize pool = 0.6 SBD

Here's the current status:

GoldKeyLeague - Public - Open to all

The GoldKeyLeague group was open to the public and it has 4 Entries/Brackets. Out of these 4 brackets, two have their selected champion already out of the tournament. Effectively, two brackets are still in the running. It is between these two brackets/users:

• 410 Points - espn39499822 1espn39499822 with Michigan
• 280 Points - shooting my shotespn43037529 with Villanova

Go Purdue and Go VILLANOVA

It looks like the remaining 'unbusted' brackets have Villanova or Purdue for the Champion. While many had Virginia, like myself, I'll be rooting for Purdue and Villanova in the next games. I'll be rooting for Purdue over Villanova if they play against each other, but I expect Villanova to get the WIN.
