Switch gears, swap fears out for
Knowledge, & beers out for rawness.
The flawless impetus that stimulates
Creativity, the virility of spirit that
Whispers sweet everytings in our ear if
Only we would listen we would hear.
Take pause & accept all of what
Seem like flaws in stride, then drop
Pride both mundane & spiritual.
No matter how lyrical or lofty they may
Appear it's our concepts that bring
Us tears; It's our beliefs that
Work to summon grief upon us, for
Lack of being honest and staying in
Flow, and admitting that at least in
Words we do not know.
Growth comes from relinquishing the
Extraneous so we can go subcutaneous,
Below the surface of our pretense into
The Dark depths past our defense where
Vulnerability, essence & power lay
Awaiting its acceptance, screaming out
For nurturance is the Soul.
Will you Heed its call or stay distracted by the
Manufactured chaos in society?
Never mind me, just switch me back off and
Go switch on your TV.
