Greetings, Steemians...

🌟It is Weekly Challenge Time🌟

This is my submission in Share Your Battle Weekly Challenge.

This week's theme is SERPENT OF ELD

LORE

This huge and majestic blue serpent was once the ruler of the jungles of Azmaré. Ages ago, he was ousted from the Palace of Eld by a loosely organized band of jungle rebels. The amphibious Serpent retreated into the waters, declaring himself the enemy of all Azmaré souls.
SERPENT OF ELD is indeed one of the most under-rated card in the game. I never used it before and not even encountered it in a battle, But to my surprise, it definitely packs a punch. It have Dodge ability from the very start and at level 5 it also gets Return Fire ability. It is best suited in Lost Magic battle rule. It can be placed on the very front or back of the team depending upon the battle rules. On the back end it can prove a nice ddefenseagainst sneak attacks. It costs 7 mana compared to 8 mana of SEA MONSTER. SEA MONSTER is a well established attack monster. So, SERPENT OF ELD will needs to perform extremly well for people to prefer it over SEA MONSTER.

My Entry

This was a 18 mana battle with two battle rules: one, Healed Out and second, Taking Sides. The battle rules and mana cost pointed towards minimal chances enemy having magic reflect monsters.

Team Selection and Placement

I used ALRIC STORMBRINGER summoner for this battle becuase the battle rules and low battle mana pointed towards low chances of encountering magic reflect monsters.

I used SERPENT OF ELD upfront to withness its actual performace. It did it's job pretty well. But, I feel it would be much more dangerous at level 5 equiped with Return Fire ability.

On one down position, I placed PIRATE ARCHER. Decent health of 3 with blast ability. I placed it there to absorb any blast attack and provide time to my RULERS OF THE SEAS.

On the last came my trump card, RULER OF THE SEAS.I didn't bother to provide it with sneak attack protection becuase the enemy seemed less inclined to use melee attack monsters in his/her last 5 battles.

Remarks

This was rather an easy battle. The enemy's team selection was pretty poor. I mean why would anyone use CERBERUS with Healed Out battle rule? SERPENT OF ELD and RULER OF THE SEAS left enemy tothless from the first round.

The enemy missed the only shot(not that it would have mattered) it had on my SERPENT OF ELD, thanks to the Dodge ability.

Dang! The high attack power (plus blast) on your side basically annihilated the other team. Nice.
