SPIRITUAL FOOD 4 THOUGHT - THE PASTORAL EPISTLES
This one may get interesting...
1 & 2 Timothy and Titus are often referred to as "the pastoral epistles." Unfortunately for modern Christianity, this is far from being accurate. Actually, there aren't any pastoral epistles in the Bible... seriously.
Boy things are still a bit slow around here.
I would agree with you that they were more evangelist than pastors. It can get quite interesting when you actually dig into the beliefs of the various denominations and even the so-called non-denominational.
Hey, I've been working on a website. I haven't really shared it with anyone yet as it is not really ready, but I wouldn't mind hearing your thoughts, critique etc. I'm really just getting it started and I was planning to add the steempress plugin so when I start writing posts on it they will automatically post here as well. http://www.discipleshipcentral.com
If you can find the time great, if not it's still great... be blessed...
That should really be more like missionaries.... convert, teach, and help set things up to duplicate the process over and over. That's why I like the know, grow, connect, serve and share model...
Interesting. I'm camping at the moment, but I'll look at it and see what's up.
You are doing a great job with these videos. It is amazing when we apply logic to scripture how it makes so much more sense and how different it is at times from what we have been taught in the modern church. Keep these videos comeing!!!
Thanks so much! You know that I appreciate the encouragement!
woops .. RC
hm , i might have deleted to comment on youtube but just fyi, i always delete all my comments on youtube :D ... maybe i should comment from another account
The pastoral epistles are so named because they concentrate on church care. So you're obviously wrong.
1 Corinthians 14 would be worth a read to better grasp how a church should "function..."
