Each and every one of us pays attention to a speaker unconsciously and consequently influenced by them. Why people can't influence others? They don’t understand the concepts of speaking. No matter how good your content is, you will not get people attention if you don’t understand the base and the secrets of Speaking skills. A good speaker will always enhance the quality of the content and influence others.A lot of people have fear in public speaking. According to a survey 41% of the world public including successful businessman turn down the opportunities to speak in front of people.
What you can do to become a great speaker? Everybody can share their words and their content with others but sharing your words doesn’t make you a great speaker. There are a lot of things associated with a great speaker. According to Richard Greene, words have only 7% influence over the conversation. There are two more things that get the most of the percentage that is voice tone that have 38% influence and body language having 55% influence. If you want to be a great speaker the first thing you need to do is to bring passion and genuinity in yourself.
Enthusiasm? No one wants to hear words in the same tone and with no excitement. Enthusiasm is one of the greatest tool to level up your speaking skills. It makes sure that you have a certain passion towards what you are sharing. You don’t need to show that you are enthusiastic but they will automatically and unconsciously feel it if you are interested and have passion towards what you speak.
Passion - Speak from your heart? We all must have noticed that if we have passion towards something then we tend to do it with more attention and consciousness. Don’t just go to stage and start speaking, Take your moment and find the passion about why you are doing this? and speak with your heart because sharing your heart is much many times effective than sharing your words.
Great speakers always speak from their hearts and can make one to one connection with the public instantly. How they do that? Because they have authentic passion about what they share. It is not all about a speech, its all about having heart to heart interactions. Sharing your heart is much many times effective than sharing speeches, jokes and more. Go on and be a great speaker.
