El conjunto holandés tiene la ventaja mínima (1-0) conseguida en la ida disputada en Inglaterra, por lo que un empate le bastará para luchar por el título de Europa el próximo 1 de junio. Los Spurs necesitan ganar sí o sí. Una victoria de 0-1 mandaría las acciones a tiempos extra, mientras que cualquier otro marcador favorable le daría el boleto a los ingleses.
