Apagón en Venezuela - Blackout in Venezuela

in #spanish6 years ago (edited)
Hola Steemians.

  • Cartulina Azul Marino.
  • Lápiz de color Plateado.
  • Lápiz de color Negro.
  • Pintura al Frío color Blanco.
Hey, Steemians.

Today I wanted to express my unease and concern about the events that took place in my country, Venezuela. On Thursday, March 7, at 5:00 p.m., an outage occurred throughout the national territory, which caused a domino effect; therefore, the supply of water was suspended and telecommunications services were interrupted. In the first blackout on Thursday, in the place where I live, we were without electricity for a little more than 10 hours and in the second blackout from Saturday March 9 until Sunday were 20 hours, perhaps heard very alarming, however I must say that in the city where I live we were the least affected, because I am just 70 km from the Hydroelectric Power Station Simón Bolívar "Guri". But there are areas in Venezuela that were left without electricity for more than 90 hours, which caused many human and material losses.😢

We are not at war! We are a country blessed by God! and yet Venezuela is falling apart 😟. And I really don't want to go into the political issue and say that this or that one is to blame, but rather I want to ask the great community of SteemIt to include us in their prayers and prayers 🙏 so that Venezuela may once again be that Big Country, Prosperous and lover of Justice and Truth.

For this work I used:

  • Navy Blue Cardboard.
  • Silver colored pencil.
  • Black colored pencil.
  • White Cold Painting.

I hope the worst is behind you, @sosadraws ! It must have been quite a difficult time without electricity for such a long time !

The drawing is very cute, and topical ! I like how you established the lighting by using dark coloured paper as your base :) Love how you did the glasses and the hair :) Very nice picture <3

Thank you very much. It's been a long time since I've done this kind of drawing. And of course, despite the circumstance, it had to be beautiful :-)

Thank you for your good wishes

Wow, just watched a comedy news video about Venezuela that was released today so crazy to run into this post now

Not as crazy as the actual situation going on. I am so sorry that these issues are happening, that is good to read you are not near the more affected parts of electric outages. What a beautiful art to create out of this situation. I love art done on darker papers and yours is the perfect reason to use it. I genuinely hope to you and your family and friends for a quick end to this dark period with lightness coming soon.

WoW @cryplectibles... Thank you very much for your sincere wishes.

Venezuela is a big country and you will see that soon we will get out of this situation.

Gracias. Si!, claro que sonreirá :-)

Your drawing is lovely, @sosadraws!

I am sorry to hear that Venezuela is falling apart. On paper, Democracy sounds like a lovely idea, but then we always elect the most corrupted guys to lead our countries.

I don't see a good future for Brasil nor America, after they elected their latest fools. America is a vast country, it will hold on... but Brasil might be heading for a similar fate as yours.

Why do people elect these dumbasses in the first place?

Thank you, my friend.

The history of Venezuela is very beautiful. In the 1800's. True men who love democracy and justice were born and thanks to these men, not only the freedom of Venezuela was achieved, but also that of Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia and Colombia. Sometimes I think that Venezuela's misfortune is to be such a rich country, we have gold, diamonds, coltan, oil, fresh water, jungle... and in these last 20 years a left-wing populism has been promoted that seemed to be conceived to save democracy, but it hasn't been like that, something failed.

The people got used to the government giving them everything, everything is subsidized, for example the cost per liter of gasoline in Venezuela is 0.01 (U.S. Dollar) and this is the international price but within Venezuela with the same amount you can buy 30 liters and the same thing happens with electricity, water, food, etc ... perhaps this is what does not allow us to advance as a nation.

Maybe all this has to happen so that we can grow as a Nation.

1 liter of gasoline for $0.01?
13 liters of gasoline for $0.01?

Do you know how that costs over here? $1.60 per liter.

Do you understand what kind of profit margin that is?
Do you understand now why Venezuela is under attack?

Every country with resources such as Gold, Oil & Diamonds (G.O.D.) is screwed by the British/American empire. From South America to Africa, to Middle East and Asia, every country with such resources ends up being thrown into chaos.

These people are experts at exploiting countries in turmoil.

I wish you all the best. I hope you can get a way out of this mess soon enough.

Nice work and good way to help take your mind off things a little better. :)

I hope you stay well and safe there. I know your country is going thru distressful times right now. But hopefully y’all can get back on your feet soon there!
