"Welcome to the Jungle" canción del grupo Guns N' Roses, fue lanzada en octubre del año 1987. Representa el 2do single del disco Appetite for Destruction.
Se puede decir que es uno de los temas más famosos y conocidos del rock de finales de los 80 y comienzos de los 90. Se encuentra en la posición N°7 del Billboard Hot 100 y en el N°1 en "Las 100 Más Grandes Canciones del Hard Rock".
Esta canción trata de la ciudad de Los Ángeles. En ella se expone el lado oscuro de la ciudad al que muchas personas se enfrentan cuando van allí a buscar fama. El grupo Guns N 'Roses conocía bien este lado de la ciudad: en el año 1985, estaban viviendo en Sunset Boulevard, Los Ángeles, en un lugar que llamaban "Hell House". Una casa a menudo llena de drogas, alcohol y groupies.
La letra de "Welcome to the Jungle" es de Axl Rose. Según ha contado la inspiración le vino de un encuentro que tuvo con un vagabundo mientras caminaba por Los Ángeles, quien después de asaltarlo le grita: "You know where you are?, you're in the jungle baby, you gonna die!" («¿Sabes dónde estas?, estas en la jungla nene, ¡vas a morir!»).
