Te amare
y te amé como la primera vez
cuando te hice mujer,
te bese y hasta mi alma
sin titubear te entregué
no dudaré en ser ese caballero
que soñó una vez.
y con mimo te cuidaré
y gotas de rocío por agua
tu sed yo apaciguaré,
te adoraré como tierra al alba
al recibir el sol en cada amanecer
y con una cruz en pecho te bendeciré.
y como estrellas por ti me multiplicaré
y como lucero de farolito
tu sendero alumbraré.
Te mimaré mientras duermes
y de centinela me investiré
no dudaré en dar mi vida
si fuese preciso de hacer.
que por ti siempre repetiré
y cada mañana con un café
a salir de la cama te alentaré.
Te haré mi esposa, madre
y el mejor de mis semblantes
y me sentiré agradecido
por tenerte a mi lado.
y me iré para esperar el despertar
de la mujer que mis pupilas
ven como paisaje tan elogiado.

I'm not sure I understand every word, but then again this is one of my favorite ways to learn Spanish. I actually own some poetry books in Spanish bought while traveling.
Anyway, I liked it and voted for it in the c-squared curation contest, would love to find a good English translation for it. Thanks!
