I could not accurately express the sheer honor it is to see you work on these songs with such talent and such heart.. this video had me smiling into a new realm of joy... just bursting glow my friend. absolutely love it!! LOVE!! im humbled and very very impressed. production sounds great and you had to work with such a chaotic variation stem pack, your skills as a producer and musician in musical construction is tops. I could on for miles about how rare out there in the music ether is ears that truly can pinpoint timing flow key and presence for a vocal. Wondeful.... nods to thee with warmness

Hey, hey this is great especially with the vid! Really liked the mix up with you playin' Felt like I was watchin' MTV in it's beginnings ;) That guitar is crisp sounding. What amp are you using and any effects? Nice! Really enjoyed.

I almost bought a fender mustang the original once. I've heard lots of good things about them. Hmmmm, maybe I'll revisit that idea? I'm using an old USA Peavey Transtube bandit 112 and an old British Marshall Valvestate VS 65 R. Different sounds for different days but I love em' both!

Another great collaborative creation Bri! I'm curious, how do you track drums and bass?
Thanks PG! First, I do all of my recording in ProTools, so for drums I typically use Boom. As for Bass I play it most of the time. For this particular track I didn't have one at the house so I wrote the part on guitar and then used Xpand in ProTools to make it happen!

Cool Bri Thanks for sharing... I use an old school electronic drum-kit and a knock-off Fender Bass I keep on hand... I mic the Bass amp, and record the drums directly into my DAW. Never quite got around to learning how to track "virtual" instruments... I suspect doing so would make for lots of new and interesting opportunities..... Thanks again brotha.... Oh, and BTW, I just posted my production version of that Stones classic in this weeks openmic... Cheers mate!

But Brother, the story about your hand gave me chills! When I was about the same age my Dad lit a cigarette from the stove top. I asked him if it was hot and he didn't answer me. Back then the elements were not rings, they were solid. I placed my hand square on it. I screamed so loud my Mom came flying downstairs like I had been shot!
Long story short, I was bandaged up for most of the summer and had a very similar experience......that's just plain creepy.

Everything about this video is totally in the flow. The video, the audio mix, amazing sweet frosting guitar shred. I have now listened several more times and each time it brings tears to my eyes.
