금을 얻기 위해서는
마음속에 가득 찬 은을 버려야 하고,
다이아몬드를 얻기 위해서는
또 어렵게 얻은 그 금마저 버려야 한다.
버리면 얻는다.
그러나 버리면
얻는다는 것을 안다 해도
버리는 일은
그것이 무엇이든 쉬운 일이 아니다.
버리고 나서 오는 것이
아무것도 없을까 봐
그 미지의 공허가 무서워서
우리는 하찮은 오늘에 집착하기도 한다.
