Time Wasted on Social Media Addiction

Hello Friends,

Here I am Lucia again trying to find a good and virtuous topic to inscribe and share at the same time to learn about.

So the topic for today is "Social Media Addiction".

It is an incredible addiction that makes people stay awake during all hours of the night by checking their phones, tablets or computers, to see who is watching them. What is the point? People who judge their value by this type of response are not worth much. They are losing personal contact with those who can make a difference for them and who can support them as they move through life.

The really bad side is the way in which it opens a way for harassment on the part of others who act against their interest. Young children commit suicide because of this and it works both ways. Without the support of personal and family friends, this is leading people to do horrible things.

Terrorists are also using social media to recruit others for their cause. They can enter the heads of their victims since the conversations are private and dangerous. Many have fallen into the trap and are either dead or preparing to die on suicide missions.

This is the modern world and now everything is so available that the authorities can not deal with it. Videos designed to distract and engage people for hours and hours are often false stories that should surprise. During the Christmas period, some of these were so disgusting and detrimental to the people who focus that one wonders the motive behind them.

The scary thing is how credible they are. Without going into details and publicizing them, the claims made would have been useful for those who seek to destroy the faith of the people in certain politicians, tennis players and others.

This is the garbage that permeates the minds of children and is prompting more of the same. Some do extraordinary and dangerous acts to publish on social networks with the aim of getting people to click on videos or images. The number of visits is added to your psyche as something that increases your ego.

While the benefits or harms of psychiatry are not published, they should be. This is a dangerous pastime to waste time that is worse for some people than taking drugs. It is a drug and it is highly addictive, since one can easily spend an hour or two without even realizing how much time has passed. Reduce normal learning and family time while important things are lost.
