Share2Steem is a cross-posting platform built on the steem blockchain that allows its users to cross-post across multiple social media like Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Medium, and Twitch as at now.
Humans love to interact, no doubt and over the years different social media that will help foster this process has been developed.
One thing they all have in common is that the users are made to bear the cost of coming online each day to share their daily life activities, to friends, loved ones, and families with the social media generating huge sum of money via different means like the introduction of ads, polls generating and so many others.
Steem is the first blockchain that made monetization of social media possible after the introduction of steemit, the success that came alongside with it was something no one probably expected and over the years, different dapps have been developed to use this technology steem to deliver something totally different, less stressful and with the hope of maintaining the reward pattern.
Share2Steem was born with the above in mind, it allows its users to instantly share content from other social media directly linked to their steem account.
How does this work?
It allows users who already have a Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, Medium and Twitch account as at now to cross-post any content made via the above to steemit.
Like other dapps built on the steem blockchain, it requires one creating a steem account, you can read about this Here.
After the above has been carried out, you will need to signup/log into Share2Steem.

Next, you will need to link and verify any of the social media mentioned above with your Share2Steem account.
For this tutorial, we are going to use Instagram.
- First, you will need to make your Instagram account visible to the public, had issues with this when I initially tried linking my account.
By default, your account should be visible to all, but if for any reason you made it private then follow the below.
Click on your profile,
Navigate to settings,
Click on Privacy and Security
Click on Account Privacy
Private Account should be turn off.
You have successfully made your account visible to all.
Next,
Log in via Steemconnect, if you confused about this, click me.
Click on linking an account
You will be presented with different social media that can be linked to your steem account
Click on the Instagram icon
Scroll down and input your Instagram username on the required box
Click on the check icon and give it a second or two to load
Click to verify the account (this is to verify you are the owner of the account name you just typed in).
A new page will be open to you, read the instructions carefully and apply them as required to your Instagram account,
Click on verify, if you follow the instructions shown to you, a congratulation message like the below will be shown to you.
Congratulations, you have successfully linked and verified your Instagram account.
Making a Post.
To cross-post via Instagram, Twitter and any other, you need to have successfully done the above.
Go to the required social media of your choice and click to create content, tweet, grams or whatever name you call it.
Input the required information you wish to pass out, and use the tag #share2steem and any other tag you wish to add to the post, the first 5 tags used including the #share2steem will be shown via the post on steemit.

Share2steem is more of an instant medium to share your thoughts across multiple platforms while monetizing it, say you have a good follower count on Instagram and the same time you would love to monetize the thought, Share2steem is the ideal platform for that.
While you feed your followers with the daily inspiration words or probably a meme, you can also share it via steemit and get rewarded from users who found it interesting or by the Share2Steem curation platform.
Like many other steem dapps interfaces that rewards you after making content via their platform, Share2steem still rewards you as well, but as usual, certain requirements are needed to get the upvote.
The above is definitely a good way to monetize and also cross-post your content, but with other dapps coming up on the steem blockchain which hopes to act as Twitter, Instagram, and many others, the need to cross-post if you entirely on it for the money might no longer be there.
A mobile version of it would be greatly appreciated, that way, cross-posting will be made a little bit faster.
