The SoCal Spotlight - Week 18
Welcome to week 18 of the SoCal Spotlight!
Each week the SoCal Spotlight highlights five of the awesome posts from #socalsteemit! So, lets dive on in and see what kind of cool stuff the SoCal Steemians have been posting about this week!
To start it off this week we get to meet a new SoCal steemian... welcome @narwhalz0111!! He tells us a bit about himself and his many interests. Giving us a sneak peek at all the cool stuff he plans to blog about here on Steemit!
Up next we have a fun post by @csusbgeochem1 who tells us all about his tubing adventures on the Kern river! Including river rapids, hot springs, and camping with friends. And despite dealing with some injuries, he still had a really great time!
Our third post in this weeks Spotlight is a freewrite by @mariannewest with the prompt 'parachuted'. Marianne tells us about how her bother in law and husband enjoy flying and parachuting, but she on the other hand doesn't really find heights and small planes all that appealing!!

In our final post for week 18 @bxlphabet continues his series talking about the dockless bikes that have recently appeared all over San Diego, which have now expanded to dockless scooters as well! Are they the future? ...or just a nuisance? ...@bxlphabet seems unimpressed so far.
