[WDYWT] Adidas Pharrell Williams X NMD Human Race (black)

Probably the most hyped shoe in my collection, I was lucky to pick these up early in the piece for a good price. The Human Race NMDs are a collaboration between Adidas and Pharrell Williams. There are several colourways that all have different words which I feel are all about saying we are all human are are equal. This is the most subtle colourway and say 'HUMAN' and 'SPECIES' on each shoe. I love the unique lacing system with the yellow laces which just make it pop.

Unfortunately these are pretty beat so it's hard to get a good picture with all the frayed stitching. Surprisingly these shoes are in my opinion really not that comfortable. It's a struggle to get my foot into the shoe with the tight ankle liner so if you're in the market for a pair of these if you have any opportunity to try them on before purchasing I highly recommend doing so. The boost is typical NMD boost, it's reasonably comfortable but doesn't come close to UltraBOOSTs or even 350 v2s. The upper is a sort of mesh material which is unlike any material I have on any other shoe. It's not as comfortable as primeknit but it does the job.

Overall it's the shoe that gets the most looks in public as it's something you certainly don't see every day. I'm glad I managed to pick these up early at a good price as the current resale price is absolutely insane. I purchased them used which some people may think is a bit odd but I'm always on the search for a good deal. If you want to check out a reputable place to buy used shoes check out Goat.
