@steemph.cebu is a community account committed to discover quality contents, building healthy community, and maximizing Cebu's Philippines' Potential.

Third quarter of the year 2017, @steemph.cebu was established as a branch account of @steemph and became the first sndcastle in the Philippines incubated by @sndbox. With the span of three months, there has been a lot of account activities with the support of influential community mentors : @donkeypong, @surpassinggoogle, @acidyo, @jrcornel, @hanshotfirst and @sndbox' founders @hansikhouse | @voronoi. Steemph.cebu is lucky and thankful to have the their support for us to implement our community-driven projects and curations.

In this year wrap-up review, we would like to give you a report about the account's activities, achievements, and updates that happened as a Sndcastle. The year wrap-up review will be sub-divided into four parts :

Community Campaign and Meet-ups

It has been a voluptuous year for Steemph.cebu with regards to conducting community-driven campaigns and meet-ups aimed to unite Cebu as an active community in Steemit and encourage more people to come and join this amazing platform. Before @steemph.cebu was established, there has been a lot of promotions thru meet-ups conducted by enthusiastic Steemians. The likes of @themanualbot, @jassennessaj, @fernwehninja, @itinerantph, @queenjventurer, @mikekenlytungal, @belvaj, @rfece143, @ninyea, and @bellatravelph who put extreme efforts to expand the network of Steemit communities.

World Food Day

In line with the Celebration of World Food Day (October 15-16, 2017), marking our first community event. Steemph.cebu was able to feed more than 150 children and able to provide them a pair of slippers each, all powered by Steem.

Gift Giving day

In the essence of Christmas as a season of giving, we conducted a Gift-Giving event aiming to transform the lives of twelve chosen less fortunate families in Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines. The initial projection of this event was only to provide the six families christmas presents, daily needs, and financial assistance. This was the first Big funded event from Steemph.cebu because of the strong support from the Steemit community and being Steemph.cebu as a sndcastle, we had reached beyond the projected number from six to twelve number of families.
