Steemit Music League Challenge Week Four

Wow eight (8) incredible entries were part of last week building momentum for an epic Week Four of the Steemit Music League Challenge.

The SML Challenge was created to provide an additional avenue for the musicians of Steemit who are chasing their dreams to be highlighted and earn some additional recognition, feedback, and rewards.

Here are the details for the Steemit Music League Challenge:

All genres of music can be apart of the Steemit Music League Challenge. Anything from heavy metal, rap, hip-hop, soul, gospel, country, electronic, basically anything you can think of music related and it's a go.

All you have to do is submit an original entry based off of the universal theme of the week using the tag #smlchallenge and/or comment the entry on any SML Challenge posts.

You will have until Wednesday night, October 18th to submit your entries compensating for all the time, effort, and resources you put into creating these epic pieces of art. Winners will be announced Thursday, October 19.

This fourth week's universal theme is:

Space Elevator Music

Literally, music that could be played in the elevators of space. Space and the Universe is an interesting place so of course there is/going to be elevator music in space.

My Uncle Dave Low was a NASA astronaut and space walked a few times and shared with me some of his experiences. Music definitely is just as powerful in space as it is on Earth.

What would you want to listen to if you were on a space elevator ride?

The thing about space is anything is possible so elevator rides in space can be fast or slow (such as they are on Earth). This means the tempo of the entries this week can be vastly different.

The entries will be judged off of the following:

• Sound Quality,
• Technicality,
• Creativity, and
• Relevance to universal theme

The prize pool is as follows:

FIRST PLACE WINNER: 20 SBD + 10 Whaleshares + 30 Voiceshares for 60 points

SECOND PLACE WINNER: 10 SBD + 10 Whaleshares + 25 Voiceshares for 45 points

THIRD PLACE WINNER: 6 SBD + 10 Whaleshares + 20 Voiceshares for 36 points

FOURTH PLACE WINNER: 4 SBD + 10 Whaleshares + 15 Voiceshares for 29 points

COMMUNITY FAVORITE: 10 SBD + 10 Whaleshares + 10 Voiceshares for 30 points

The Community Favorite each week will be determined by the amount of comments responding to their entries, upvotes on their submission comment, and total community support on post.

Week Four of the Steemit Music League Challenge starts today and will accept submission until next Wednesday night, October 18th with winners being announced Thursday evening.

Don't forget it helps the judges and the community for you to make a post about your entry, with how you created it, the meaning behind it, how the theme came into play.

It is just another way for us Steemians to get to know you and your message.
