What is SmartCash?
SmartCash (Smart) is very similar to bitcoin in terms of use and function. SmartCash is digital currency that can be used to purchase goods and services similar to bitcoin. It has value in the world market and currently trading in Cryptopia, Hitbtc Coinexchange and Ether delta. Now some of you might be asking if Smart is so much similar to bitcoin why have it in the first place isn’t it redundant? Actually not at all. You see even though Smartcash and bitcoin have their similarities they are very much different in terms on how they are run as a community and on its development. Unlike bitcoin which rewards mostly the miners Smartcash is very community-centric where community and development comes first. In fact 80% of the block reward is allocated to fund SmartHive community proposals and the Hive team. 70% or the 80 percent allocated in the block reward will be used to fund projects the community would like to pursue, while the remaining 30% of the 80% reward block will be used to fund running the SmartCash system. The remaining 20% percent is apportioned to the miners which earned only 5% and SmartRewards 15%.
Great effort has been made to make sure that the community will play an active role and say in SmartCash which in my opinion has been thoroughly lacking in the bitcoin community as majority of the say on the development of the coin and its direction relied heavily on those who has mining power and bitcoin holdings.
Currently the price of the SmartCash is around $.09 (at time of this writing) which is quite amazing since the first time I saw this it was valued at $.01. I don’t see any reason why it should not reach $1 or even $10 in the near future. Yes everything is possible and I see great potential in this coin. It has reason to as high as $.12 but due to some vulnerability in which a hacker was able to mine a couple of million coin prices for the past days were lower. However the development team was quick to resolve this issue and promised to burn SmartCash an equal amount of coins that was stolen to stabilize the supply of the coin. It was a clear example on how agile the development team and by voluntarily burning coins shows great responsibility on their part (although they have not actually burned it yet).

Any cryptocurrency can turn into another pump and dump any time. It is free market and the pump and dump groups can choose whatever coin they choose. If you look at the volatility of cryptocurrencies compared to other assets one can say that cryptocurrencies in general are pump and dump assets. Even bitcoin at some point has been pumped and dumped. What i liked about smartcash is that it has value outside the cryptosphere. Of course I am not an expert on this matter. It is just my opinion on smartcash.
