"Princess Mononoke" - My Studio Ghibli Week

in #slothicorn6 years ago (edited)

Hello friends, have a huge greeting. Today I would like to continue with what would be my week of Studio Ghibli, this time with a drawing of one of the greatest films and with the most empathetic message towards nature, I refer to "Princess Mononoke".

Here I show you some images of the process with a brief review of this film

The film tells the story of Ashitaka, a prince of a race of men on the verge of disappearance who, by saving his village from a boar corrupted by a curse, is wounded in one of his arms, causing the appearance of a curse on the same, that with the passing of the days, it will grow more and more until it loses its life. After this incident, Ashitaka must leave his village in search of the "Spirit of the Forest or deer God", because only he can free him and cure him of this terrible curse.

On his journey, the protagonist will arrive at "The Iron City" and meet his leader, Lady Eboshi, finding an existing war between humans, led by Lady Eboshi, who work in the city of iron and are cutting the forest for the obtaining of wood and coal that they use in the forging of their arms; and the animals, which worship the Spirit of the forest and the forest in general.

On the other hand, is present our protagonist "San", or better known as "Princess Mononoke". A small and mysterious young girl who was raised by wolves all her life, until the moment of her being one of the protectors of the forest. San, would grow up loving nature and respecting everything that surrounded her, that is why, she hates Lady Eboshi, who attempts against the integrity of her home, "The Forest".

This is a masterpiece, as well as everything that Studio Ghibli could produce and it is definitely one of my favorite films, due to many things that it was the first that I saw of the Studio Ghibli and that together with that, started my fanaticism and love for the work of Hayao Miyasaki.

A beautiful fantasy, an exhortation to live in balance with nature and a captivating adventure. Thaks everyone for reading. If you liked it, I hope you can support me with a comment, suggestion, retest or your valuable vote. It would help me a lot. No more to add, I say goodbye and I hope you have a good day.
