Silver - bright future ahead

in #silver7 years ago

These are the reasons why silver has a bright future.

The ancient relic, silver, seems to have a bright future in the next couple of years, and the reasons are below:

  • India's demand soared. 340 million ounces of silver was imported to India in 2015

  • The demand for silver due to solar energy will reach its peak in 2018

  • The supply reached a peak in 2015 and will gradually decrease in the next ten years

  • Unstable political environment, money rushing to safe haven like gold and silver

The gold and silver ratio is very close to the peak now, and the ratio is expected to drop while silver will rise ahead of gold and perform better in the next couple of years, just like every single bull market of gold and silver before.

In the recent economist magazine, a word "Xi" appears in the new world currency. Does it imply the Chinese? Since the Chinese leader's surname is exactly "Xi". Is China going to play a very important role in the upcoming change of monetary system? And will silver play a critical role, just like in the ancient time?

Ohhh you're SO knowledgable on financial issues!! :) haha like u, I'm also interested in silver and gold! And I think silver is undervalued now... but I believe that it'll return to the value it should be :) nice work and keep on going!

Yo bro. I want to ask you something. In your opinion which furture is better? Cryptocurrency or metal? I am sure you join in steemit as you believed in cryptocurrency? Or you invest in both? Btw, nice post and nice writing. Happy Friday.

Gold/ silver is more secure and I am sure it will have a 2x - 5x returns, on the other hand, cryptocurrency has a future possibility of 100x of current value but it is more risky. So I would put half of my money in gold and silver while another half in crypto to diversity my portfolio

Monetary collapse/Debt deflation is the only reason that matters, in my opinion, when it comes to silver's bright future.

I write about silver. Here is my latest post: https://steemit.com/silver/@hgmsilvergold/if-you-are-a-silver-and-gold-stacker-this-is-for-you

Hello @htliao !!Thank you for your sharing . It is a great post. It is useful for us.i hope you can keep going to do it.last , i hope you have a nice holiday, i am waiting your new post.thank you

Nice post! Yes, I always wonder gold or silver which one would be a better investment. And you post really give me some inspiration! However, how will you link up the relationship between silver and the alt coin? Is it co-related or in an opposite position? Thanks for sharing!

I see a lot of people asking about Gold vs Silver vs Cryptocurrency, I guess in terms of risk Crypto>Silver>Gold. Vice versa on the returns. Gold being the safest. But silver will give you a better bang on your dollar as the potential for increament is higher, currently $17 but has a high of $48 compared to Gold where your dollar investment might not be able to even double. Gold currently at $1266 peaked at $1900. I am heavily vested in silver personally, bullions and bullions of it. Recently expanded my portfolio to crytocurrencies as there seem to be more certainty on it because of the uncertainty the world is heading at the moment, greatest risk but the wide acceptance of the cryptocurrency has mitigated part of that risk, a year ago I probably won't put a cent in cryptocurrencies. Good article on precious metal, China is going to have a lot of potential to dominate in the future, greatest purchaser of Gold.

I agree that silver is a great investment. I own physical myself. I believe that the paper markets will lose credibility in the next few years due to the naked shorting in the futures markets. At that point silver and gold will make a strong move upwards from actual price discovery, not paper manipulation.

Thanks. I think gold and silver can be used as a hedge against cryptocurrency and stocks. They usually perform very well. When there is any economic crisis, no matter in inflationary and deflationary case.

Agreed but potentially risky if you're not nimble enough to get out of the debt based market quick enough.
I don't mind speculating but only with cash I'm prepared to lose.

My favorite asset 🙂

Yeah, mine too

Invest now while it's cheap. You'll be glad later.

Yes, I think it's really cheap now, platinum too

Very good counsel.

Do you take your silver coin collections as a investment?

I will classify them into investment coins and collectible coins. Investment coins such as the Royal Canadian Maple coins can be used as an investment tool(But you also need to wait for several years) while the collectible coins are for collection only. However, if they really become so expensive in the future, I may also sell them, haha

That is a good point, I would trying to buy some too, lol.
