As promised here is the sixth installment of the #shorebreaksessions series!

After 2 weeks on the road, the car/house is still in 1 piece, the beard is getting delightfully ropey, all my boards and limbs are pretty much intact and the Germans are being kept at bay with a large stick.

Yesterday was the 3rd day of the policeman's comp at Manu bay, after surfing the morning I opted to save on surf froth and instead recharge being thrown around the lush waters of the Raglan beachie in the afternoon.

With a swell period of 16seconds and the tide low, this wave got a bit thick, throwing some mildly hollow shapes (and beginner surfers) up and down the beach.

At the moment I'm shooting without a dome lens. Generally this doesn't make much of a difference unless you're shooting from the water - especially with shots that are half in/half out of the water. This pic may have had more depth with a lens, but to still get that desired 50/50 effect without is awesome.
