Shadows - Round 28
My entry to @melinda010100 #shadowcontest. The theme is Children Shadows.
I’m not around many children but saw this little guy, and his shadow, watching the two girls playing a toss game along the river.
The two girls and the little boy where together. They were having fun while waiting for the Summer Days Parade to start.

It's always good to see kids playing outdoors and getting their exercise...…...something all kids used to do without questioning why they had to. But then they didn't have IPhones, Cell Phones, Gaming machines and Ipads back then did they?
It's a strange indictment on our modern way of life that what was once viewed as normal, everyday outdoor activities now have to be encouraged, because kids think it is boring.
Needless to say, I love the positive, sunny vibe (and shadows) your photo provides @redheadpei Have a great day!
Thanks Trudee, I’m glad you liked the photo. I felt the same way it was nice to see the kids outdoors playing - rare nowadays. Times are a changing rapidly in the last few years. ❤️
Times are definitely changing Jo and we all have to do our bit to make sure these simple pleasures in life are encouraged for the younger generation. I've noticed how our grandkids are at first reluctant to put down their devices but once outside, they manage to have a heap of fun and they are all involved in recreational sport which is great and goes a long way in keeping them healthy, emotionally as well as physically.
