dom's team is managed by @kryptocek and he was asleep at the wheel! I needed every bit of negligence I could get this week, so I'll take it. Our friend @kryptocek added a RB to replace his bye player, but never entered him into the lineup, and the rest was history.
As much as the week could be characterized as a debacle for me, I feel like every good title run usually includes one of these lucky hard-fought, spirited, team-oriented wins.
And this comes off the heels of a totally different thing last week, where @pittsburghhodlr and I lit up the board with the week's 2 highest scores, and I was able to give him the unlucky L.
You just never really know what the fantasy gods have in store for you.
Try to stack a good team, make some good decisions, and then a lot of it is up to them.
Chin up, @kryptocek, you're 3-3 and only a game out of a playoff birth if the season were to end today, and every Win earns a slightly higher prize at the end of the year anyways.
Edit: you'd actually be 2 games out. I was thinking I'd have the wildcard at 4-2, but actually the pesky @misterhorse would have it at 5-1. Point remains tho that 3-3 is still in the thick of it.
I'm now 4-2 and take on 5-1 Christopher's Team next, as we move deeper into Autumn.
I've been so god damn busy this month moving to across the pond to Europe and just took an intensive english course. I feel like my heads been in 30 different places!
