Hey Friends

Welcome To

Sepia Saturday

Well welcome to the second week of Sepia Saturday. I have long been a fan of sepia. Maybe it has something to do with being the Old Guy? Hmmm, I will have to think on that lol. However, for right night, just sit back and enjoy some sepia!

I always feel sepia gives a timelessness to a photo. I think it obviously works better with some photos more than others, but that is the great thing about art, it is entirely up to the artist to convey what they feel should be conveyed.

It would be awesome if you joined in!

Those old tube radios are cool. I had a bunch of them and some tube amplifiers that I played around with as a kid. The sound quality was not really good on the amplifiers, they looked like they were home made and there was no bottom covering the inside. I made the mistake of putting my finger on one of the components when the amplifier was running and ended up on the floor. I never did that again, there is some serious voltage inside those old tube amplifiers.

Plus they have the added benefit of doubling as a room heater LOL.

Hey good to see you! I second what @dswigle said about missing your posts! Of course many thanks for the awesome support. It is most welcomed in these lean times!

Oh, @lightsplasher!! Seriously?? Good to know... and they almost look junky with the no bottom or back! :) And of course, I want to thank you for all the upvotes!! When are you going to post again! I have been going to your house and banging on your virtual door every day! ;)

To me, sepia give us a rather old-timey look as opposed to a Timeless look, but that is just me. I really like the old radio and I actually have one that works or the tubes work. I am wondering if I put up an antenna if I could actually get some reception somewhere. I remember how excited I was when I bought that. Would you believe I bought that at auction in Michigan? Of course you do.

So glad that you started the sepia tag! I'm really lazy, oh, but I do like black and white and sepia so this is a good enough reason to start working on them a little bit more.

Yes right you are! They certainly are old timey looking, but in a cool way. That is where I get the timeless from. Old looking yet relevant today in an artistic styling. Yes I thought it would be a fun and easy idea if someone needs a reason to post on a Saturday. So happy to see you in the tag!

Well, of course, I am going to support you. Ben pays me well to do it. :)

I don't think many seen the Zenith brand around.

Pretty cool i like it see what i can come up with :)

Loving the new Sepia day. Like you, I'm a huge fan of the brown hue. Think it adds a bunch to some photos. Then again, I'm a nostalgic older-ster too. So maybe that does have something to do with it. Nah, we're just artsy fartsy ( :
Hope your Sunday is going well. Rainy here, is it snowing in Michiganderland? Cheers
