Why do websites need SEO services?
SEO is required so that your website can be seen by many. Take an example of Steemit, if you write a mindblowing post on Steemit with lot of information and also do some SEO related thing than people outside Steemit will find you, they will try to create the account and most probably they will follow you because you are the one who has brought that person on Steemit.
Let's take another example, you have a website which sells computers and there are hundreds of other sites which does the same. So if I type "buy computers", you want your website to be seen first on google which improves the chances that I will be going to your site to buy the computer. This is where SEO comes into picture.
