Secrets of Organ Playing Competition - Week 8

in #secretsoforganplaying5 years ago (edited)

This is my entry for Week 8 of the Secrets of Organ Playing Competition!

My name is James Flores and I'm playing "Andantino" by Denis Bédard on my Johannus Studio 170.

Denis Bédard is a Canadian composer of organ works (solo, duet, and with other instruments) and choral pieces (a cappella, with organ, and with piano). He founded Éditions Cheldar, which publishes his works. His compositions are performed internationally.

Lovely hommage to Vierne's Berceuse...

@organduo Wow, I never made that connection but it makes sense now! I can definitely identify elements of Vierne's Berceuse in it.

I was surprised too. How do you like Steemit so far?

That's a really cool piece @contrabourdon, but what has happened on minute 5? is it another dramatic "Alarm" before it fade away? Luv it... I enjoy your video and hope that you continued posting your organ play on steemit too.
