Having people bid with SCT tokens to receive large Steem votes, undermines the value of Steem while inflating the token which holds no real value.
I've downvoted this post not on quality or value, but strictly on disagreement with SCT bot and how it works.

From my very limited understanding at this point, this is just a bidbot where instead of sending steem directly, they are buying another token and sending that instead?
Yes, that is correct, so they buy their own cheap token and provide large Steem upvotes.
Doesn't even create demand for Steem to buy the vote, just their token.
I am guessing it is to keep the buying out of sight. Regardless, it is from the Steem pool it is coming, and that means that it is up to the community f staked users to decide whether to let it stand or redirect it.

SCT alone made more than 1 million steem BUY and staked. That looks like a huge steem demand to me.
To the individual yes, for the future of the ecosystem not necessarily, especially if it is used to undermine the value of Steem.
