CRY and you can make ELECTRICITY .......
Since 19th century physicist Pierre and Jacques Curie discovered lysozyme researchers have been expirementing. Published on the 2 October 2017 the University of Limerick-Ireland had done some pretty amazing research. They said that a tear can produce electricity. They found an enzyme in the tear called lysozyme; which is an anti bacterial that attacks the cell wall of the bacteria making them rather weak or fragile. These anti bacterial are found in saliva, mucus, egg whites, milk and tears. When this substance(lysozyme) crystallizes it forms piezoelectricity meaning it can be converted to mechanical electricity but creating an electric charge.
"This is a new approach, as scientists so far have tried to understand piezoelectricity in biology using complex hierarchical structures such as tissues, cells or polypeptides rather than investigating simpler fundamental building blocks." " says lead researcher, Professor Tofail Syed, from the University's Physics Department
