Monkeys try new solutions to problems, more than humans
Humans tend to stick to what they know, even if it’s less efficient... well with modern society and the current state of life, that is really not a surprise.
New research at the Georgia State University reveals that monkeys are significantly less susceptible to what's called “cognitive set” (A temporary readiness to think or to interpret information in a particular way) bias than humans.
Studies also support earlier findings that showed primates greater willingness to use shortcuts when available and to earn a treat (greater willingness to earn from work). Humans, one the other hand in present and previous studies have the tendency to persist in using a familiar strategy even if it is more inefficient, and even if they see the more efficient alternatives at work.
Moral of the story
Mass adoption of the new Fin-Tech and Cryptocurrenies is going to take a bit longer.... keep accumulating!
