Reality Is Realistic: 330,000 patients die each year from prescription drugs in the US and Europe

in #science6 years ago (edited)

It is not just the opioid crisis but so much worse.  Almost unfathomable. The big picture is getting clearer by the day and it is scary to see how monetarism (profiting from saving lives) has completely destroyed conventional medicine, alopathy.

Health/Life cannot be speculated on, or it systematically created paradoxes like this. More hazards stem from the fact that problems are more profitable, so the intention to cure is always hijacked in the long run. Money and the ego do not mix and never will.

There is no need for more "regulations" but helping people become aware of the ego' side effects combined to that of chasing money 24/7.  Even  Renewable Energy Is now a bigger scam than Bernie Madoff and Enron.

It is impossible to speculate and doing good for Humanity. Because Truth is unmarketable.

Medical Destruction: It’s Not Just Opioids

November 17, 2017   | wakingtimes.com

“…appropriately prescribed prescription drugs are the  fourth leading cause of death…About 330,000 patients die each year from  prescription drugs in the US and Europe.” “They [the drugs] cause an epidemic of about 20 times more [6.6  million per year] hospitalizations, as well as falls, road accidents,  and about 80 million [per year] medically minor problems such as pains,  discomforts, and dysfunctions that hobble productivity or the ability to  care for others.” “Deaths from overmedication, errors, and self-medication would increase these figures.”

In other words, the 330,000 deaths per year, the 6.6 million  hospitalizations per year, and the 80 million “medically minor” problems  per year…all of this stems from CORRECTLY PRESCRIBED medicines. (FULL ARTICLE AT THE LINK)

The Risks of Prescription Drugs (Privatization of Risk)

AMAZON book Review

The Risks of Prescription Drugs explains in  clear, concise, and unflinching language the consequences of ignoring  the discrepancy between the drug industry's private interests and the  public service we hope and naïvely expect from them. This book provides  consumers with tools for self-defense and concerned citizens with a road  map for rebalancing American medicine. (John Abramson, Harvard Medical  School, author of Overdosed America: The Broken Promise of American Medicine)

This  volume introduces important debates on pharmaceutical promotion and  marketing, needed drug evaluation and regulation, professional conflicts  of interest, and increased medicalization of behavior. It explores  important trends and policy questions that all engaged citizens should  consider. (David Mechanic, Rutgers Institute for Health, Health Care  Policy, and Aging Research, and author of The Truth About Health Care: Why Reform Is Not Working in America)

This  is a sensible, readable and constructive book that could in various  respects open the reader's eyes, and then lead him, with his eyes wide  open, along the road to a healthier world. (M.N.G. Dukes International Journal of Risk and Safety in Medicine) This  well-referenced title will be of particular interest to prescribers,  but I recommend it to all healthcare professionals. (Roger Evans Nursing Standard)

Coming from a doctors son, I've seen a lot of people misuse these drugs. Most don't follow their prescriptions. Some some recommend meds to their friends and family and act like they're doctors just because they had a check up a long time ago. smh

yes that can be an issue too --- but doctors prescribe much too fast because too many get kickbacks.

I feal u on the consipracy Thats why smoke weed ppl dont die from weed

When will earthcustodian, a supposed leader of a money free movement, embrace the money free paradigm and demonetize her posts? Until then, she remains a base hypocrite.
