Inevitable collusion, the conspiracy to defraud, happens more or less spontaneously. Many people involved in such schemes do not see anything wrong as their investment portfolios say that it is legal. Only those at the very top of the pyramid know what is really going on and harvest even more unethical wealth. As a matter of fact: it is the shabby secret of world stock markets, to rob and pillage legally by financial inertia, the money-making mentality. Anybody who has followed the EC blogs for a while will recall the 5 billion euro carbon-trading fraud called the heist of the century and Indonesia set ablaze every year for the sake of palm oil throwing millions of tons of carbon into the atmosphere and sickening/killing thousands. Not to mention the planetary death by plastic, which is too another multi-billion dollar industry and the criminal side effects of monetized altruism.... and the list goes on and on... just wander this blog and see it for yourself. 'The greatest scam being perpetrated against taxpayers and consumers is renewable energy, according to a new analysis published by the Australian, greater even than Ponzi, Madoff and Enron. While sinking enormous financial resources into propping up renewable energy prospectors, national governments are providing no perceptible benefits to their citizens, writes Judith Sloan, a renowned Australian economist who has served on the Australian government’s Productivity Commission. “With very few exceptions, governments all over the world have fallen into the trap of paying renewable energy scammers on the basis that it is necessary, at least politically, to be seen to be doing something about climate change,” Sloan writes, before providing readers with an avalanche of economic data to back up her assertion. In Australia, more than 2 billion taxpayer dollars a year are funneled to renewable energy handlers by virtue of the operation of the renewable energy target and the associated renewable energy certificates, Sloan observes. A very simple solution to this problem, let the free market handle it. If there is any value to renewable energy, the free market will find it.
