ACCEPT YOUR IDENTITY

There are so many things that I learn daily. Life with God is an adventure and a constant challenge. God is wonderful! I have no doubt about it. Somehow he always manages to let me know how much he loves me and how important I am to him.

Analyzed today in what an important requirement for those people who want to improve their self-esteem. For one to have good self-esteem, one has to have an identity. Identity are those things that we are, those characteristics that we possess, those criteria, thoughts and things that we feel or believe. Those who do not know who they are, can not expect others to discover who they are. First you have to know yourself to learn to love, respect and value yourself.

When we know our identity in Christ, we know that regardless of what many people (who do not really know us) can think about us, we are God's creation. And God, my beloved friend and brother, does not do any crap. God took time to design the first man and the first woman on the face of the earth and it still takes time to weave into the womb of our mothers. That is why I like both the psalmist David and Psalm 139, that psalm reveals the care of God over us his children, even before our conception. We are made in his image and according to his likeness. Through the Bible we can find many beautiful texts in which God speaks to us, shows us and reveals who we are to him and what we can do when we have him in our lives.
The next time someone tries to make you feel insignificant or you get thoughts that make you feel bad and hurt your self-esteem, remember that one of God's commandments was: "Love yourself."

It is not always easy to love ourselves, maybe we look in front of a mirror and find a hundred defects, but also if you look and think carefully you will find many beautiful virtues and talents that God granted you. Someone said "beauty was in the eyes of the one who looked" and another person said: "for the colors were made for the taste".
But God you care a lot. He designed you to be a happy person. He does not want you to live life feeling sorry for you, much less thinking about the things you do not have. He wants you to concentrate on the good things that he placed in you and that the deficiencies leave them in your hands and if you can improve them, the best ones. Under the identity of Christ, we are a holy nation, a royal priesthood, a chosen race, brave men and women, princesses and princes, servants and maidservants.

Before his eyes we are his maximum creation par excellence.
If someone has tried to devalue you (that there are always people who lend themselves to that), do not fear, do not faint, do not intimidate yourself, much less get confused. If you had a relationship that lasso you in such a way that you feel like they say "a crap" there, it's time for you to begin to change those thoughts and accept the true identity that you have as a son and daughter of God.

If you ask me what I do writing this at this time of the morning. I will answer you that I do not have the slightest idea, I just felt it and it is what God has given me to share with you. He wants me to remind you how special and valuable you are, even if you feel weak. He also wants me to remind you that you are his vessel and that therefore he has NOT COMPLETED OF WORKING WITH YOU OR WITH ME.

Accept your identity and start living with more freedom and joy.
