KINGDOM SERVICE: A TOOL FOR LASTING SUCCESS PART 1

According to Joshua 1:8, there is a kind of success in God called a good success. Quickly I will like us to understand also that all success doesn’t come from God. Even some of which comes from God are not good success.

Good success is not a happenstance; it comes from a diligence involvement in kingdom expanding and advancing service.

God has never been interested in giving us possessions and inheritance that can’t stand the test of time. After He made light, He had to test run it and when He saw that it was good, He now handed it over to us see Genesis 1:4. God hates it when we waste what He gives us that was why Jesus ordered His disciples to pack the leftover of what He feed the crowd with.

Now this is why God will always attach every blessing He has for us to a service we offer in the kingdom. Listen to this please, God is not is not a helpless being that depends on our services for His existence. Do it or leave it God will still remain God.

Single handedly He created the whole earth without the help of any cherubim. When we fill we are doing God a favour by serving Him, we are simply subscribing for a life of permanent displeasure. He said to Pharaoh, let my people that they may serve me. It will interest us to know that the sole aim of God creating us was that we should be a source of pleasure to Him. So every time we put ourselves into the service of God, we are giving God pleasure and God is still in the business of rewarding our labor of love. You will see making someone happy as a useless deal if you don’t have love in your heart for that fellow.

Every service we offer God in the kingdom is called a labor of love and He is not unfaithful in reward our labor of love.

Now let’s look at a few of the services that exist in the kingdom that can usher a man into a lasting success in God.

1. Soul winning

This is simply turning the hearts of many that was against God to God. This is one service in the kingdom that bits in the heart of God. This is the reason Christ died. 1st Tim. 1:4 Apostle Paul help us understand that it is the will of God that all men be saved and that they should also come to the knowledge of God. And so for every time we win a soul, we are living out the will of God. Bible says blessed are the feet of they that carry the good tiding of the gospel.

2. Intercession 1st Timothy 2:1-3

Bible says pray for the peace of Jerusalem for in her peace you will find your own peace, friends no citizen of any nation can dwell in peace when the nation is not in peace. When you pray for people in affliction and distress, you engage God in a continuous work of making sure that you are exempted from afflictions and troubles. After Job had prayed for his friends, his life did remain the same. See Job 42:10. Intercessory prayer is a prayer that comes from a heart of love.

3. Alms giving

You do not give because you have, but you give because you know it is a kingdom principle for a lasting success. Give and it will be given to you, good measure pressed down; shaken together running over shall men give to your bosom. Giving is a serious keep to activating supernatural abundance.
These and many other services exist in the kingdom that can usher you into a lasting success in God, locate yours and remain committed in it and your life will never be the same again..
