It's been a rough couple of weeks for steem users all over the world on the blockchain. A lot of us must have been discouraged and resorted to giving up hope, but I want tell you that God has not forsaken us.

Life is always a struggle, but the Lord guides us in all our ways. God did not create man to live and give up at a particular point in time. No, God created us to live and prosper and proclaim His goodness to all the earth.
Jesus said in John 10:10 that he has come that we may have life and have it to the fullest.
It doesn't mean that there won't be any tribulations, or hardship or even delay in success, all these things are perfectly normal occurrences in life. What matters the most is our attitude when we encounter them.

Giving up in life is not a good Christian attribute, because when Jesus came to the world, the Jews and the Pharisees were hostile to him. But that did not stop him from fulfilling his earthy mission. He never gave up because of unfriendly environment or people. Instead, he persevered till the end, because he knew that his mission is greater than anything else.

The same logic applies to us as Christians, our attitude and mentality should be aligned with Christ's own, because he is the author and finisher of our faith. Do not be discouraged by friends that mock your situation. They do not know God's plans for you. They do not know that he who puts their in the Lord are like Mount Zion which shall not be shaken (Psalm 125:1) and they shall flourish like trees planted by the riverside. Always believe that you can achieve whatever you set out to achieve. No matter the obstacles between you and achieving your goal, all you need to do is to hope on God and you will surely pull through. All it takes is faith, because faith in God is a stronghold to achieving all our life goals and reaching our destiny.

We should do well to remember that everyone in life has their own timeline. Your friend's timeline and yours are not the same, therefore comparing his success to yours will be a big fallacy on your side. The saying, God's time is the best ratifies this in so many ways. Do not give up because God's own time for you to attain your destiny is surely at hand. God is our father, and He will not give us any challenge that we cannot overcome. The Lord said in Jer 1:5,

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.

This indicates that God has plans for each and every one of his creation, He has a destiny for everyone, a destiny we must set out to achieve without looking back and without doubt.

Look at what happened to Job in the Bible, he suffered all the tragedies on earth courtesy of the devil in order to test his faith, and no matter what misfortune that befell Job, he never gave up on God and God rewarded him a tenfold. Trials and tribulations are all part of our mortal life on earth, but we will only let the devil triumph over us when we pack up and give up. Even the kingdom of God are not for the faint hearted, it is rather for the ones that are strong willed. The ones that persevere until the end.

Today, I say to you my brothers and sisters, never give up, keep on thriving, keep on hoping on God, put all trust on Him and never let go, and He will see us through. God bless you as you read this. Amen.
