And it was at this exact moment...
...that I realized I'm way better off taking pictures by myself. I was in San Francisco for a wedding and I had plans to go out and shoot the city at night. It was my first time in SF and I wanted to take advantage.
My friends wanted to tag along with me to explore the city at night. I offered to drive them to the hotel we were staying at and everyone was gung ho. But then someone (who shall remain nameless) needed to do a number two - which meant my plans went down the toilet.
It was at that moment I realized I'm better off going out to take pictures by myself. That way I don't have to feel bad if I'm taking long in one spot, or want to work quickly to get in and out.
But at least I was able to get a few shots from Twin Peaks...
Wow! how did you take the shot?
First step is to use a tripod, use a low ISO (like 100), then use an aperture above f8 to get things sharp and use a slow shutter speed. I believe these images are a 30 second exposure.
Hey I'd go shootin' with you. And don't worry, I carry backpacking t.p. in my camera bag, haha!
Oh, and great shots!
LOL. After seeing your images I'd definitely want to link up with you! I told my wife about going on a photo trip over there.
She's already somewhat dreading our upcoming trip to Seattle. I was talking about the photo spots I want to hit up and she was like "oh boy".
Meeting up for a shoot would be tons of fun! So many photogenic spots up here...
I know. Working on it brother!
[email protected] if you want to contact me off of steemit...
Sounds good brother!
Without a doubt, you truly are a Hall of Famer. These views are amazing and you did great in capturing it.
Thanks - I'm flattered!
