This week is my birthday week.
Actually my birthday is on 20th, but I still feel everyday like a bday.
This was a special day as I am 50 now. Sounds a bit scary - half a century. I don't know where all these years have gone. It was like a blink of an eye. Life is to enjoy it. Now every other bday will remind me that I am possibly going down the hill, still there is so much to discover and learn. My curiosity is increasing and I am interested in more hobbies.
I am no spring chiken any more. I cannot hide the age. But it does not bother me, because I am having all I need - health!
Well, I have put some weight on, I need to recover my energy if it is drained quckly after some exercises and I am puffing when I decide to use the stairs, not the lift.
But apart from that I have nothing to complain about.
One very important thing I have learned is to be able to separate private life from work and to leave all the problems in the office. Home is for the family and we have little time to spend together and it must be quality time.
As always I got pleasant surprise from my work mates. I thought that it would be fun to use my photo for some funky edit.
Besides that will hide the background (the warehouse) 😉
Anyway, I made a collage with some of the photos from work and from home with that special cake prepared by my beloved chef Dave. Lucky me, I have a partner who loves cooking and since we are together, he is the master chef at home.

Happy birthday from me! I had mine on 6th of November when I turned 40! This anniversary was on a special year when I changed my career and even country of residence. So my birthday this year was a very special one. No one gives me 40, because I actually look 30 and act as 20 :)
