Did you know that the only geyser field in Eurasia is in Russia?
The Valley of Geysers is located on the territory of the Kamchatka Territory and has three groups of thermal springs. All of them are located in the lower reaches of the Geysernaya river. At a distance of 2.5 km. There are 20 large geysers and several hundred thermal water outlets.
The valley of the geysers was discovered in April 1941 by the geologist of the Kronotsky Reserve Tatyana Ustinova and the guide-itelman Anisifor Krupenin.
