Another session of "Tightening the screws" or how to scare your poor muscles (#runforsteem Post)
I did not post yesterday run, did not have so much time, but, in short, it was 45 minutes of progressive run.
Today I did another "spartan" heavy session of 8 blocks of Force Exercise in which I combine repetitions of a Force exercise on a particular group of muscles of the lower extremities with Force exercise with another group of muscles (calves, quadriceps, Isquiotibials...) , this time from the upper body (arms, legs, abdominals...), followed by a "transfering" run of 500m long, done at fast pace.
No rest in between exercises, neither between blocks!

It is a kind of HIIT workout but focused on Running performance
If you are interested on this kind of workout, you can read a previous post I wrote here.
- 500m runs done between 1'47" and 1.58" (from 3'34/km to 3'56"/km pace)
- Maximum Heart Beat frequency: 176 bpm's
- Average Heart Beat frequency: 144 bpm's
- Total length run: 7.64 km
- Time including warm-up and stretching: 52'
Do you dare to do it?
