I Bought New Shoes For Soft Running　ゆっくり走る時のためのシューズを購入

Today was rainy all day. So I didn’t run after work. Instead, I dropped in a sports shop on my way home from work to buy a pair of running shoes.
今日は一日中、雨が降っていたので、仕事の後、走りませんでした。代わりに、仕事帰りにスポーツショップに寄ってランニングシューズを買いました。

Last month, I bought new running shoes “Wave Emperor 3”. The shoes are suitable for speed running, but have thin cushion to protect legs and feet. So they are not suitable for soft running such as active rest. So I decided to buy a pair of shoes only for soft running.
先月、新しいランニングシューズ”Wave Emperor 3”を買ったところですが、このシューズはスピード走には向いていますが、足を保護するためのクッションが薄いので、アクティブレストのような軽めのランニングには向いていません。そこでゆっくり走る時専用のシューズを買うことにしたのです。

これが今日買った新しいシューズです。

It is “Wave Rider 20”. It is an older version of “Wave Rider 21”, which I had used until last month. Compared to the newest version, its performance may be a little poor, but its price has become low because it is out-of-date. I think even old version is useful enough for soft running.
これは”Wave Rider 20”です。先月まで僕が使っていた”Wave Rider 21”の古いバージョンです。最新のバージョンに比べると、性能は少し劣るかもしれませんが、型落ちのため価格は安くなっています。軽めのランニングには古いバージョンでも十分でしょう。

Hereafter, I will use the two pair of shoes differently depending on the pace of running. When I plan to run at faster pace, I will use “Emperor 3”. And when I plan to jog at slower pace, I will use “Rider 20”.
今後は、ランニングのペースによって2種類のシューズを使い分けることになります。早めのペースで走るときは、”Emperor 3”を履き、遅めのペースで走るときは、”Rider 20”を履くつもりです。
