Absolutely, persons just going on hear say not even researching, or just flat out haters , because inside they know they should get a fat bag of xrp 😎, but xrp is down , ‘80% bit up 2000 percent from 2017
My issue with Ripple is the lack of transparency. All the coins are already mined, so I'm told. There's little understanding of the algorithm used to generate the coins, much less how the blockchain operates.
From an outsider looking in, that kind of FUD doesn't exactly help things.
