Ghost Manor (TurboGrafx-16, 1992)
Source: http://www.megalextoria.com/wordpress/index.php/2017/02/24/ghost-manor-turbografx-16/
Ghost Manor was developed my ICOM Simulations and released by Turbo Technologies (TTI) for the TurboGrafx-16 in 1992. This game has no relation to the earlier Ghost Manor released for the Atari 2600 and VIC-20 in 1983.
It is a spooky sort of platform game so the temptation is to compare it to something like Castlevania or Ghosts 'n Goblins. This would be a mistake because this game is not nearly as good as those. Despite the decent music and fairly good graphics, other issues just make this game frustrating to play. You have to find a key that you aren't likely to find without help from the internet, jump to various platforms that you are likely to immediately slide off of, etc. all with the help of unresponsive controls. If you are looking to complete your TG-16 collection then go ahead and get it, otherwise avoid it like the plague.
Above is the box art for this game which is probably one of the best things about it.
