1 Peter 2:9 "He called you out of Darkness"
1 Peter 2:9
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light”
The Lord is our light and our Salvation
We are called out of the Darkness of this world into the Love and marvelous Light of Christ.
When light is present darkness departs and if no light shines, darkness remains.
So let your light shine the Love and marvelous Light of Christ, bringing glory to the Father.
And forever Shine Shine Shine! ~ Amen

Something I hadn't noticed before - the use of the word "generation" to refer to "a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people".
So when Jesus said, "This generation will not pass away till all be fulfilled", we here have a clear definition of what He meant." He was not setting a 25 or 40 or 70 year deadline for His return. No, he was saying what Paul also said, "We shall not all sleep, but some of us will be changed, in the twinkling of an eye at the last trumpet." There will be Christians still alive to be raptured when He returns.
