The Common Enemy of All
Whether it be the news, or social networks, or even down to just overhearing conversations in public, there seems to be enough blame to go
around but how much of the blame has nailed the issues at the roots.
Would it make sense that after mankind has been on this earth for as long as we have, that if we truly blamed the right things then at least some of the issues that been plaguing us would be solved by now?
If we found the true nature of the blame and chopped at its roots then we wouldn't be seeing the things we are today. Whether it is blaming guns for people dying or blaming an plant for someone acting stupid, the fact is from what I see is we as a species have a real bad habit of blaming whatever is the easiest and usually it takes away from the true responsibility and accountability of where the blame actually is.
When one find the true blame, then it's done by finding the root of it. When the wrong source is blamed then the problem will continue just like a tree in your yard that really irritates you every fall when it drops its leafs. One could blame the branches for not holding onto the leafs, one could blame the leafs because they die and don't hang on, and one could blame the sun for changing its pattern. We could blame all three things, but in all reality the problem will
continue to exist because that would be like climbing the tree with a rake before the sun changes its pattern and going after the leafs when they still on the branches. it's obvious this won't cure the problem, no matter how good you do if the leafs will grow back, the sun will still change its pattern. the only real solution would be to have at the roots of the tree and then that issue will cease to exist.
We blame guns for gun violence, yet if it was truly the guns fault then it would mean every gun out there is killing people any chance it can. it's an inanimate object so that simply isn't the root. the root would be those will ill intentions and a lack of care for life of another or in general.
We have blamed cannabis because very few people have made stupid decisions while using cannabis, yet if it truly was the fault of the plant then people like Carl Sagan or Michael Phelps wouldn't exist. The root blame would be the person that doesn't take the time to think of their decisions before acting upon them.
We have blamed Muslim religion because a small minority had hateful hearts and caused harm to others, the same could be said for Christianity as well. If those religions were the root blame then that would mean every person within those religions does the very same things and we can clearly see that it boils down to what that person brought with them into the religion beforehand.
We have hit a point where blind blame has the majority of people at each other's throats for the wars and bloodshed happening all over this world. We can see clearly that this issue is getting worse and worse by the day.
I have searched for many years for the root of the issues happening today and in such a way that I cannot break it down any further.
I have come to see this common enemy of all is the common enemy of all existence, of all life on this planet we call earth. This common enemy of all is ego and greed.
Whether it be wars or violence or the leveling of entire forests, it's the same root and has been and will continue to be until too much has been destroyed. Even racism is an excuse for someone's blind imaginary ego that will come up with anything it can to assume a false sense of superiority when the fact is it should be impossible to hate an entire race unless one has met every single one of them.
Some will say ego can be a good thing, well it can be as long as it doesn't take from another but the way I see it is any good ego is earned pride, not based upon assumptions or illusions.
I feel the big issue with the common enemy being ego and greed is it starts within each and every one of us first. Who truly takes the time to judge the self and limit the self so the gains of the self doesn't walk all over another, I see very be be able to do this.
if we rid ourselves of ego and greed then any type of government could even work, even a dictatorship could benefit all. For any war it starts the same, one side or one religion or one King feeling they are better than another group, when the fact is for every race or religion I have seen there are good and bad people within each. I have yet to find any large group that is absent of this destructive ego and greed, even down to the police... in fact I see the issues of the police that we are seeing today is mostly unadulterated ego. An ego that can't even hear someone saying no without feeling the need to bust someone's head for it.
It's my firm believe that the majority of the worlds issues that are causing destruction can be healed or fixed by ridding ourselves of these two aspects.
It seems to me that ego abd greed are traits of the monkey, a monkey can be happy with having its banana even if the banana tree is burning to the ground.
Everyone needs to look at the self and ask if of monkey or man, and do all we can to balance and control these aspects within the self and that point it becomes very clear what can be done to take the next steps to address those two monkey traits in society itself.
Natures law has shown us that we are all individuals, but as individual as cells in our body, meaning we are all tied to a much larger functioning body. A cell that only ever thinks and does for the self becomes a cancer.
The other part of this is every cell that cannot balance and control itself will in turn have an outside entity perform those actions for it and most likely not in a positive manner.
Every cell that can achieve balance and control of the self in turn is just that, itself.
I am new to this, so I accept suggestions very openly. I gotta figure out the tagging system as well, thanks for everyone's patience. this was a test article as a start.
