Dear ladies,

The best thing you can be to a man is to be his peace. Men are saddled with a lot of responsibilities. Apart from providing for the family, having to forever be responsible for a woman's happiness amidst her emotional insecurities, weaknesses and complaints is a huge task. Women's emotional complexities makes it a hard work keeping them happy and this could make a man go insane if he is not ready for this. Not to mention having to be a responsible Dad and inculcate the right discipline and values into the children.

Before you nag, bicker and throw tantrums about what your man did or didn't do right, remember that your man may be stressed out about a thousand other things. The world doesn't start nor end with your own happiness and needs. So learn to calm down and pick your nags wisely. No adult that works 40hours a week want to come home and nag. Most men can only be attentive, remorseful and apologize when they are mentally calm. You can get a man to be anything or do anything for you when you effectively grasp his mental needs and cater for it. Same way as men manipulate women with their emotional needs.

That there are ladies out there who are raising their kids single handedly doesn't mean that your man shouldn't breathe. Don't even compare your man with another. Everyone has their own struggles. Appreciate him for trying. When he comes back home from work, stressed from the day's job, let him find rest in your arms. When he returns unhappy because he's not able to meet deadlines, be his courage. Remember that you are not only soulmates but also team mates. Be his hope that he can win and his comfort when he loses.
