Neil Zaza - I'm Alright
Here is one of my favorite electric guitar of all time. Not many people know him as well to my surprise. He's no where short of skills and more than skills you can hear by his playing that he's not just playing chords or notes but conveying a thought or feeling with them.
This is the first song I heard from him and totally fell in love with his music style. He plays melodical rock and composes all his songs himself.
Standard tuning for this song being played in the key of E major. Much of this song are variation of triads which is basically picking the different notes of the chord.
I'll be posting more songs from this guy as many of his songs are my personal favorite. But the more "viewed" one amongst the others.
'I'm Alright' with extra ending of the American national anthem - by Neil Zaza
Every week I'll be posting at least 1 song of my list of various genres I listen to. Stay tune for more interesting tunes you don't usually hear on the radio.
Ahhhhh so this is to the song you always played in church! Nice!
This is THE SONG! We almost used it for our wedding march remember? :)
Very cool... That man really enjoys his own playing... :)
Love the ending!
I actually met Neil Zaza once. Back in the late nineties he came to a music store near my hometown. He was going around promoting Peavey Transtube amps, which were still pretty new at the time. He alternated between playing and doing question and answer segments for about an hour, maybe a little longer. At the end of the session they did a drawing for a new amp. I think most people came for the amp contest and had no idea who Neil Zaza was, but he blew everyone away.
