Yep I don't just listen to fingerstyle guitaring. Here's one of my all-time favorite song by the legendary band 'Dream Theater'.

This is way back around 2008 when the band still had it's leader and drummer Mike Portnoy.

They play progressive metal with a lot of melodical lines from the eletric guitarist and keyboardist. The drummer does a lot of language drumming where it's extremely difficult to play as you're keeping timing and yet having melodical lines as well.

You'll also notice that the keyboardist switches to an electric guitar sound on his keys and plays the chords while electric guitarist John Petrucci plays the lead lines. Visa versa.

If you've never heard them before, prepare to be amazed by what human beings can do.... although they seem more like mutants 😃
