I believe the intro of the song can give you an adrenaline rush. The song manages to perfectly blend the emotion of anger, passion and a little sadness into the music. In my opinion, the song is about a man who lives in guilt after ruining his life but somehow driven to make things right again with the time remaining of his life. A Second chance is not about having another opportunity to fix things up but it also needs to come in parallel with the drive to make amends so that we will not repeat the same mistake again. The drive will give us the direction that can lead to a positive action to make things right again. The drive can be religion, love, family, career, etc but only you can define your own drive.
