Quick Explanation: How to Fix Your Faucet
I tend to post on what is happening in my life, so while you might always get crypto currency updates from some people, I have a variety of topics.
Today's topic was inspired by a need to home and another #randomcotd by @khackett.
Today's Topic: How to Fix Your Faucet
Although I would love to be able to tell you how to increase the flow of whatever Bitcoin or crypto currency faucets you might be using, I can't. Totally out of my control.
However, if your faucet at home is running slowly and you think something might be clogging it, this is a super easy way to fix it.
- As you can see, the water is not running very quickly.
- First, make sure the water isn't running. You don't have to turn the main water off or anything. Remember, this is easy.
- Use your wrench to grip the bottom part of the faucet head and turn the wrench to the left. <---__---
- Use the wrench until you can turn it with your fingers. Catch the aerator and washer. Sometimes the washer can separate from the aerator, so don't let it go down the drain. You can close the stopper to help prevent that. (You can see in the picture that the washer isn't there.)
Notice all the junk that had been stuck. Most of it didn't stay in the aerator, but broke free.
Run the water for a little bit to clear it all out and rinse the junk down the drain
Reinsert the washer and aerator. Screw it back on, turning it the other direction. --__-->
Tighten with the wrench until snug
Turn on the water to test
You're done!
See, it's easy.
And now your faucet should be as good as new!
I hope this helped, or at least entertained.
